Stewed green beans
- One medium onion, chopped
- One or two cloves garlic, chopped
- Two cans (15 oz) green beans, drained
- Olive oil
- One 15 oz. can stewed tomatoes
- One 8 oz. can tomato sauce.
Brown the onions and garlic in a heavy saucepan with a few tablespoons of olive oil. Add the remaining ingredients and cook uncovered over medium heat, to reduce the liquid until the desired consistency is obtained.
